That wouldn’t be interesting at all. It would be really fucking boring. I’ve got no interest in re-creating the 1980s. No offense at what Frank’s doing – I haven’t seen Dark Knight 2, so I can’t really say. But Watchmen, as we said at the time, was something that was supposed to be complete in twelve chapters. It was completed as one book. It was one story. There isn’t any more to Watchmen. There never was.
